Augusta is close. Aiken is easy.
Two fields sit closer to Augusta than we do, and every dispatcher planning a spring trip already knows it. We are not going to pretend otherwise.
What we will tell you is that the closest field is the first to fill, that the commercial field puts airline traffic ahead of yours, and that neither problem exists here. We are a mile off I-20 and about thirty minutes from the course, on a runway that is rarely holding anybody.
You will speak to the person who is actually going to marshal your aircraft. That is the whole pitch.
